Ever wondered where pigeons sleep? What the sidewalk sparrows are thinking about? Why gulls turn gray in the winter? Luckily, “Bird Songs with Bird” will explore urban avian mysteries with the help of bird-referential songs and bits of ornitholological rambling. Each bi-weekly segment will contain an hour of tunes and talks that reveal the complex lives of our feathered friends while also detailing ways to build a more bird-conscious city environment. Expect a flock of sick tunes and some chirping with folks from Chicago Bird Collision Monitors, Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue, Chicago Ornithological Society, and maybe even a few coos from Bird’s house-pigeon Gabriel!
