Black on Display

Hosts Abreihona and Leah encourage listeners to experience Black arts in Chicago while also diversifying the white-dominated art world. Black on Display highlights Black culture in the arts by underlining Black artists both local and national, introducing the audience to Black producers and musicians, taking a deep dive into Black directed films and TV, and even exclusive mixes made by Abreihona herself featuring Black musicians. The show calls attention to the long standing suppression and appropriation of Black aesthetics while featuring the Black art world in Chicago.
