In quick greetings, we see a glimpse into people’s lives, but too often we find ourselves caught up in our own academic chaos that we do not make time or space to get to know the people wom we see every single day, who ensure that we are safe, that we are fed, that our studios are clean.
With Sharing Space, we want to dedicate two hours a month to getting to know the people we see everyday but don’t have the ability to make time for, the individuals who facilitate the day to day activities at SAIC and the surrounding downtown area; they are the security guards, cafeteria workers, janitors, baristas, retail associates, Target employees, waitstaff, the xylophone player on Michigan and Monroe.
